yes it's stupid. mount it to the floor or the trans tunnel. if you are in an impact theres a good chance that thing could fly out and hit you. |
Yeah, well that cheap plastic holder ain't worth a shit either. It's designed to hold a few stationary pounds up against gravity. |
We've had them mounted with that shitty plastic holder when ice racing and never had a problem even when impacting decently large snow banks. _________________ -Mike

for the extinguisher get a metal strap meant to be used on boats and use nuts, bolts and flat washers when going thru the plastic. trust me it wont move unless you want it to.

at what point is a crack in the windshield cause to fail tech? with this heat my windshiled cracked on the passenger lower half and its slowly stretching accross to the middle. its not a spider web or anything like that. id just rather drive or buy stuff for the s13 then fix it. _________________ Hector

This is why I tell all my clients to keep comprehesive insurance on all vehicles they own. Have a $50 deductible. It's REALLY cheap, comprehensive claims don't count against you, and it handles glass breakage. _________________

when i bought my 240 the auto seatbelts werent working, so i swapped them to s14 belts, thats fine? and also im confused on the heatshield for exhaust, i have a header, and on it theres no bolting points for the heatshield, so would i have to weld one on or whats the deal there? thanks for the help, they might be noob questions but im just confused |

As long as the swap was legit (proper hardware used, etc) it should be fine for C group/nightmoves stuff. I wont say for sure though...wait for Tim or someone else with authority answer that one for ya haha. _________________ Alright Edgar...now drop a train on 'em..
