So,here at Clubloose we slack big time…. I know ….We have our plates full in the off season scheduling, meeting with this guy or that guy, phone calls and emails Blah Blah.. So much so that this actually turned into a “get by with a little help from your friends” situation… Thank god we have good friends.
2009’s Gunner of the Year John Wagner cruised by our OTHER friends at Commonwealth Press and magic’ed up some CL t-shirts. Im not 100% sure what we are gonna do with them. I might burn them, I might put them in a time capsule. Who knows. All i know is we only got a few made.. So if you somehow get your paws on one.. Consider yourself lucky. This is what they look like… Jealous?
FRONT:
Thank You Friends!… Its good to know we still got you!
So things in the off season are heating up! After a series of emails and IM’s Clubloose has a new sponsor! We would like to welcome Liquid Powder Coats in Yardley PA To the CL family!
They hopped on board to sponsor our drivers through a generous discount plan on powder coating. Now think about what this means… I have seen some pretty haggard wheels out there on the track. This is a way to get in and get your wheels done and looking fresh for 2010. But why stop on wheels? There are tons of things to powder coat in your engine bay, Interior and beyond. Face it,if its metal,it should be some wacky color. Apparently LPC has like 7000 to choose from.. So stop on by, bring something metal, and get it covered in a radical color. Look at the work these dudes do… AMAZING!

Look at this color… i want my wheels done in this real bad!

With the winter quickly approaching CL is on our yearly winter hiatus. I hope you guys use this time to rebuild your cars or start a new project. I wanted to use this space to tell you guys how pleased we are with everyones progression this year. This was our first year utilizing the E-town road course to its full potential. Every event i saw progression from our drivers, unrivaled camaraderie, and a level of support i have seen from no other grassroots drifters anywhere i have been.
We had some set backs this year when we lost our buddy Rich Bible, but i want to thank you guys again for coming together and supporting his family. It was crazy hearing the stories from people who knew him and the seeing the support of strangers.
I will be talking with E-town in the coming weeks to set up another blockbuster season for both beginners and gunners alike. I hope to see a lot of new faces this year as well as the usual suspects. 2010 will see us trying new tracks on the road course, having more clinics for beginners, and trying to incorporate more fun stuff into our road course events.
Dont forget about the year end banquet in December, i hope to see everyone there. This event is one of my favorite of the season, we get to slow everything down and hangout with our drivers and volunteers and get prepped for the new season.
So with that said, lets keep the forums fired up with pics of car builds and keep talking about all the ass kicking we plan to do in 2010. Thanks for a great 09 season guys.
Love,
Matt

I want to take this space to thank Exedy and J-rod for supporting Clubloose,East Coast Bash, and Grassroots drifting in general. It seems like most sponsors have been burned by this sport, but something like this shows you Exedy’s dedication to our “thing”. You can really get behind a company like Exedy when you know they are in it for the long haul. Especially when they sponsor all the way down the ladder to the PEOPLE!
Thanks Exedy!
Well it’s almost that time again. July 11th is the day of the 3rd East Coast Bash. The Bible Burner was awesome, so just wait to see what we have planned for this one. So all drivers have a little less than a month to make sure their cars are in top shape and ready to rock for a full day. And everyone else has a little less than a month to ready to see some awesome driving and have some fun. So mark your calendars and make sure to be at E-town for this.
If you missed this event, I feel bad for you. This event had a little bit of everything and a lot of awesome on top of that. Drifting, partying, great people, U-god, etc. There’s just too much to even try and list it all.
This event was a benefit for the daughter of our fallen brother, Rich Bible. We were able to raise $2500 to donate to her trust. Englishtown added $1000 to that which was really awesome of them to do. JR was able to raise money for Camila by giving ride alongs. There were lots of Under Destruction and DA shirt sales with the profits going to Camila. So all in all it was a very successful event.
Besides the money that we were able to donate, many people helped out along the way to make this happen. Stan from the Vinyl Shoppe donated the tech stickers that can be seen on all the driver’s car. Nexen Tire USA started working with us right before this event to help provide awesome tires to our drivers at great prices.
So whether you were there or not, make sure to check out Loose Moves (www.loosemoves.com) for the pictures and videos from the weekend.
Until the next one…

I’m very excited to announce this. Club Loose has partnered up with Nexen Tire USA for the 2009 season. Nexen will be supporting Club Loose this year by offering our drivers their awesome tires at a great price.
All drivers should check out the forum for more info on the tires, pricing and ordering.
