Just when you thought East Coast Bash couldn’t get any better, Mishimoto comes on board to support the event and Club Loose drivers.

Mishimoto recently started the “mishimoto loves drifters” program to support grass roots drivers in the USA. Where better to unleash this program than with the most insane grassroots drift event in the country. To celebrate this partnership Mishimoto is giving away one of its awesome radiators at ECB to one lucky driver who was “killin it”. The driver will receive a coupon for an all aluminum racing radiator for his application! This event just keeps getting better and better.

I don’t think this event needs much of an explanation.

It’s going to be pretty sweet. As I’m sure you’re reading, we’re working on a lot of awesome stuff for this event. I mean we’re going to have a bar at the track. Does anything else really matter? I mean there will be some drifting and some pretty awesome dudes will be coming out for it. So I guess that’s kind of alright. But it’s no bar.

Anyway, it’s open to A and B group only.

$260 to drive. Paypal is clubloose@gmail.com. It’s for both days. There will be tons of seat time. And lots of time to party.

Registration is open from now until Midnight on Sunday May 23. If you don’t pay by then, you won’t be able to drive.

So get the cars finished, make them look cool and get ready to party. I think this is going to be one of those things you don’t want to miss.

Despite slow sign ups for this event, it looks like it’s going to be an awesome day. We’ve got a decent turn out, a bunch of sweet dudes and some cool new tents courtesy of Nexen tires.

So if you aren’t here, you should change that. The weather is perfect for drifting and hanging out.

But if you can’t make it, be sure to check out the Loose Moves live blog. I will be updating it throught the day with cool stuff.

But it’s not the same as being here in person. So just get here and let’s have some fun today.

Spring Moves
April 10, 2010
Open to Group A and B and C group dudes who cars will pass the B group rules (meaning coilovers, diff and e-brake)

$150 if you pay cash/check. PM me for info if you’re doing that.
Pre-registration only, NO pay at the gate.

Gates open at 9AM.
Driver’s meeting at 10AM.
Driving starts immediately after.
Day ends at 6PM.

Make sure you’ve read the rules and your car will pass. If you have any questions about the rules please ask. I am going to have to have to not let people drive and not give a refund because you can’t pass the rules. There will be no exceptions day of the event, so if there is something you think is wrong or might be a problem, you need to talk to us.

Finish getting the car ready.
If all the build threads I’ve been seeing are any indication, this season is going to be awesome.

Also, as you should know, Nexen signed on for another year with Club Loose. So if you need tires for the event, tire pricing is up. So place your order on time or there are no guarantees you will get tires in time.

As many of you have seen on the forum, the rules are getting a little more serious this year.

If you haven’t seen the post on the forum and the lengthy discussion following it, you should check it out.  There is also a Rules page on the sidebar here.  So you can click on that and get the most up to date version of the rules as well.

So,here at Clubloose we slack big time…. I know ….We have our plates full in the off season scheduling, meeting with this guy or that guy,phone calls and emails Blah Blah.. So much so that this actually turned into a “get by with a little help from your friends” situation… Thank god we have good friends.

2009′s Gunner of the Year John Wagner cruised by our OTHER friends at Commonwealth Press and magic’ed up some CL t-shirts. Im not 100% sure what we are gonna do with them. I might burn them, I might put them in a time capsule. Who knows. All i know is we only got a few made.. So if you somehow get your paws on one.. Consider yourself lucky. This is what they look like… Jealous?
